Highlights: The Friends of Flax Pond present a information-filled seminar with “Outdoor” Tom Schlichter covering spring fishing possibilities in the ever-productive Long Island Sound waters adjacent to Flax Pond. Fluke, bluefish, porgies and stripers are just a few of the fishing favorites to be covered. Fishing regulations, fishing ethics and catch and release methods will also be discussed. Tom Schlichter is the outdoors columnist for Newsday and managing editor of The Fisherman Magazine.
