Highlights: This one-day event offers prizes for 1st., 2nd. and 3rd. place. Mako and thresher sharks only, with 100-pound minimum size limit. There are $100, $300, $500, $1,000 and $2,500 calcuttas. A portion of proceeds benefits the Waterfront Warriors, a Long Beach-based organization providing aid and support to wounded soldiers. This tourney has raised more than $15,000 for local charities over past two years. Captains’ Meeting and Kickoff Party (bring the family) with music, raffles, food, signature cocktails and more on Friday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at Scotty’s Fishing Station/The Buoy Bar, Bayside Drive, Pt.
